We believe that strong socialemotional support is fundamental to student success and we are seeking a compassionate and proactive School Social Worker to provide essential services to our youngest students in kindergarten and first :Provide direct social work services to students in kindergarten and first grade including individual and small group counseling to address social emotional and behavioral comprehensive socialemotional assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized intervention closely with teachers administrators school psychologists counselors and parents to implement strategies that support student wellbeing and academic as a liaison between the school home and community resources connecting families with necessary support and implement prevention and early intervention programs focused on social skills development conflict resolution and emotional in schoolbased teams such as Student Support Teams and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to contribute a socialemotional perspective and support the development of comprehensive student crisis intervention and support to students and families in times of accurate and confidential student records in accordance with ethical and legal current on best practices in school social work and participate in ongoing professional for the social and emotional needs of young learners within the school and :Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) is working with elementaryaged children preferably in a school understanding of child development socialemotional learning and traumainformed clinical assessment and intervention ability to collaborate effectively with diverse communication interpersonal and organizational of relevant laws regulations and ethical guidelines related to school social to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
