Serco is looking for an ambitious and driven Engineering Intern to support our Global Battle and Mission Readiness division in Orlando Florida for summer 2025. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain handson experience in systems engineering and integration while contributing to projects that impact national defense.
In this role you will:
- Participate in technical planning system integration verification and validation and risk analysis for complex systems.
- Support analyses across the full system lifecycle including concept development design testing installation and sustainment.
- Translate customer requirements into technical hardware and software solutions.
- Conduct trade studies interface definition studies and functional/timeline analysis.
Qualifications
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be enrolled fulltime in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program and remain enrolled fulltime through Fall 2025.
- Be pursuing a STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) degree.
- Be available to work fulltime (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A demonstrated interest in engineering problemsolving and systems thinking.
- The ability to learn quickly and work effectively in collaborative environments.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
