Senior Associate Quantitative Modeling & Strategies (PGIM Inc. Newark NJ):

Partner with team members and portfolio managers to deliver relative value analytics that are additive to the investment process. Partner with team members to implement and enhance the firms new library of proprietary security and portfolio level analytics. Contribute to the teams new and existing realtime analytic and modeling platform with a focus on the rates space. Partner with groups across the organization to identify new initiatives or enhancements related to our modeling analytics. Assist in ensuring platform quality and encouraging broad adoption across the enterprise.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.

Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per week. $160000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Masters degree in Financial Engineering Computer Science or a related quantitative field and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Fixed income rates models volatility models and derivatives;
  • Pricing models for fixed income securities including treasury bonds swaps swaptions and callable bonds;
  • Independent model validation and testing;
  • Python and C library development; and
  • Excel Addin development.
