This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET) where were developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origins mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.

Enterprise Technology owns Blue Origins product and software development and codifies operational processes and methodologies into intelligent products that enable the design planning manufacturing launch and maintenance of our rockets. Enterprise Technologys UX designers enable these products by researching our internal customers needs and crafting solutions into professional user experiences.

Were looking for a Senior UX Designer who will be responsible for designs and customer research that impact our endtoend mission lifecycle from supply chain and manufacturing to test and flight operations. You will partner with product and technical leaders to deliver on the vision for our next generation product suite. Youll be part of a growing design community committed to elevating design standards quality and output.

To succeed in this role you must be an innovative selfstarter a strategic bigpicture thinker and a dedicated collaborator. UX designers serve to help define and visualize problems to solve as well as working with partners to guide discovery and design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business partners product and engineering leads to scope strategize and model solutions to a variety of business challenges

• Present design visions and deliverables to executive stakeholders and influence overall product and company strategy

• Conduct and synthesize research into Journey maps persona development and task flow models

• Lead peer design critiques and develop community of practice

• Rapidly prototype design solutions with customers and integrate AI into design workflows

• Nurture effective partnerships with Software Engineering Product Management and Business Engagement leaders to deliver worldclass software solutions

• Incorporate user feedback to continuously iterate and improve upon existing solutions

Qualifications:

• 5 years designing user experiences for software products and tools. Enterprise software or internal operations tooling experience is desired.

• UX portfolio demonstrates scalable software and services.

• Fluent in design thinking methodologies able to focus a team on goals and both strategic and tactical solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsable to clearly present design logic.

• A demonstrated history of becoming an expert in an unfamiliar domain.

• Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to continuously improve it.

• A high level of initiative to overcome obstacles and drive towards action.

• Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
