Job Description
Job Summary
Caregiver at Visiting Angels Largo has several caregiver positions available throughout Prince Georges County. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing a high level of professional and compassionate inhome care services to our clients. In this important role you will serve as the reliable link between our clients and the Visiting Angels team.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a parttime hourly position with competitive pay and benefits package to include: Medical Dental Vision and 401K.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate and professional assistance with a variety of nonmedical activities and tasks to clients in their own homes including bathing dressing meal preparation light housekeeping errands medication reminders and emotional support.
Track all daily visits in completion of accurate and thorough documentation and provide feedback to Visiting Angels management for each case.
Provide social engagement.
Reliable responsible and dependable in client visits as scheduled.
Requirements
CNA/CMT license required
High School Diploma/GED
CPR in person or online certification
Minimum of one year of experience providing care to clients within home health care or inhome care setting
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Demonstrated ability to work professionally and compassionately with elderly clients
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Valid drivers license and reliable method of transportation
Quick problemsolving abilities and excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
