Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
1. Maintain records in library and vendor systems to reflect librarys ownership and access by continuously adding loading modifying and deleting records in an accurate and timely manner. Create accurate procedural documentation of these processes. 30%
2. Receive and activate licensed ebooks and streaming videos testing URLs and linking to collections. 20%
3. Support uploading of documents perform quality control procedures and provide maintenance of electronic collections in Digital Commons the librarys institutional repository and in associated systems. 15%
4. Troubleshoot problems with electronic resources working individually or with others to solve problems inhouse when possible and with library vendors when necessary. 10%
5. Perform ongoing quality control processes for incumbents own work and the work of others in the department related to electronic resources. 5%
6. Act as a resource for library staff questions about records and workflows for electronic resources. 5%
7. Serve as backup to other department staff in most other functions including book and continuation receiving record processing and paying and managing invoices. 5%
8. Represent the William H. Hannon Library within the library and campus community as appropriate. 5%
9. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. 5%

Typically a bachelors degree or equivalent technical training in library operations especially library acquisitions serials cataloging or systems. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge skills and abilities to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in a library setting. Courses in library science would be helpful.
Experience with electronic books and/or serials the publishing industry and library computer systems are highly preferred.
Skill with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel competency highly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge in a range of electronic resources standards formats and systems including but not limited to: MARC Alma/Primo OCLC WorldShare Collection Manager Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Digital Commons LibGuides.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision organize materials and maintain careful attention to detail use sound judgment analyze information evaluate situations and recommend solutions to supervisor to complete workload and resolve problems. Ability to perform with frequent interruptions and distractions appropriately prioritizing tasks in the face of changing priorities and fluctuating workloads. Careful attention to detail is required.
Strong written and oral communication skills to work effectively with library patrons staff and vendors.

Location & Hours
This position reports to the William H. Hannon Library on the universitys Westchester campus. Incumbent should expect to primarily work on campus; with hybrid schedule negotiable two days/week in accordance with university policy. Typical daily schedule is negotiable within core business hours (7am7pm) MondayFriday.
Hiring Salary Range
This position is nonexempt with a minimum starting salary of $26.75$28.50. Offer will be dependent on experience and determined in conjunction with an internal pay equity assessment.
