Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Manage an individual case load under the supervision of a senior attorney.
- Conduct research motion writing and attend court appearances.
- Travel to outlying courts as required.
- Assist in managing and overseeing Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases including preparation and filing of necessary legal documents.
- Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and hearings.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate and timely case management.
- Stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations.
Experience you will need:
- Actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 01 years of experience and a Bankruptcy Attorney with at least 3 years of experience ideally with a background in creditors rights.
- Experience handling Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Ohio Bar admission is required.
- Strong understanding of Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy laws and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
