Reports To: Director of Rehab Services
Status: 80 hours per two week pay period
Shift: Monday Friday
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Remote Position: No

Job Summary
- Patient Scheduling: Schedule and manage patient appointments ensuring optimal time management and minimizing scheduling conflicts.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments and assist with any insurancerelated questions or concerns.
- Miscellaneous Administrative Support: Perform other officerelated tasks as needed including faxing filing purchasing and other duties as requested by director.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher preferred).
- Previous experience in an office or healthcare setting preferably in physical therapy or medical office administration.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus but not required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer software (Microsoft Office scheduling software etc.).
- Familiarity with insurance verification billing and coding processes is a plus.
