The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Piping Designer to join our team in support of industrial building and facilities projects with a focus on the life sciences biotech and pharmaceutical industries. This position is fulltime and onsite at a client location in Boulder CO. You will play a critical role in producing construction documentsincluding plans and sectionsfor complex clean piping systems.
Responsibilities
Produce piping layout drawings and construction documents for facility and utility systems
Collaborate closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
Support coordination and clash detection efforts using modeling software tools
What You Bring
Required:
AAS degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent work experience
515 years of relevant experience in piping design
Experience working in pharmaceutical biotech or clean process industries such as food beverage or dairy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Teams Word Excel)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within diverse teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Tools/Knowledge:
AutoCAD
Plant 3D
Navisworks
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Bluebeam
Basic understanding of engineering design principles
