Job Description

The Manager Field Planning & Analytics  (Immunology) is a role which will aid in facilitating and leading the collaboration efforts needed for supporting the Immunology organization.  This role manages the support team and executes appropriate communications to our vertical/sales colleagues as well as BTS and support teams along with continuously contributing creative ideas. Also this role is responsible for acting as liaison between Franchise Teams Commercial Operations Center of Excellence IT Training OEC and Legal and will influences crossfunctional teams to create and manage our precall planning tool Curo.

The position is a part of the Field Planning & Analytics Team which drives field force effectiveness by optimizing our sales force size and structure ensuring our IC designs are driving the right behavior and ensuring our call plans field tools and operations provide our field teams with what they need to drive the business in their markets.  This position reports into Associate Director Field Tools.

This is a hybrid position and requires the ability to commute to our Irvine CA office location as least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality and timeliness of key deliverables and embrace the idea of participating in workstreams acting as the key point of contact.
  • Effectively prioritize across competing projects maintaining constant flow of communication with customers and demonstrating strong project management abilities.  Such projects include: Curo builds dashboard enhancements ad hoc strategic questions product launches and strategy changes.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to enhance/improve existing process/outputs in our field tools and process.
  • Effectively manage vendor partnerships (timelines budget communications) with specific projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as liaison between Therapeutics Operations and Analytics Business Technology Solutions Training and Franchise teams to partner in the design deployment training maintenance and communications of field facing solutions.
  • Provide reporting and analytics on Field tools to business Director and Associate Director level stakeholders including in the FPAT vertical and BTS teams.

Qualifications :

  • BA BS degree required. BA/BS required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in project management (including leadership of a significant crossfunctional project) marketing or sales operations or information technology.
  • 3 years analytical and/or Commercial operations experience required preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Access)
  • Preferred knowledge of pharmaceutical industry compliance regulations and standards
  • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously with sense of urgency.
  • Strong project management problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult concepts to a broad client base including senior leadership sales leadership and other highlevel contacts
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally in a matrix environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (verticals COE brand teams)
  • Selfstarter with strong focus on internal and external customers and operations 
  • Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies and further integrate data to better serve business needs.
  • Seeks out diverse and different ideas and fosters collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in developing deploying and managing effective IT systems quality control procedures and comfort in directing low level analytics.
