Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (Bakery) to join our culinary team in Visakhapatnam India. As a key member of our bakery department you will assist in the preparation and production of highquality baked goods pastries and desserts for our esteemed guests.

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in daily bakery operations and food production
  • Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread pastries and desserts following established recipes and standards
  • Ensure proper food handling storage and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and timely food service
  • Participate in menu planning and development of new bakery items
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of bakery supplies and ingredients
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure all food items meet quality and presentation standards before service
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station
  • Participate in food tasting panels and quality control checks
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and banquets
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts Baking and Pastry or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar bakery role preferably in a 5star hotel setting
  • Proven expertise in various bakery techniques and pastry making
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Detailoriented with a focus on quality and presentation
  • Creativity and passion for developing innovative bakery items
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
  • Proficiency in using bakery equipment and tools
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and recipe documentation
