We are seeking an outstanding and ambitious Teacher of Design & Technology to take on the role of Second in Department within our highperforming and forwardthinking D&T faculty.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the direction of Design & Technology at Priory Community School. You will support the Head of Department in leading curriculum planning raising attainment and ensuring excellent teaching and learning across all key stages. You will also contribute to staff development help drive innovation in and lead by example in both teaching and professional conduct.

What were looking for:

  • A passionate teacher with strong subject knowledge in D&T Engineering or Construction.
  • Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 with a proven track record of securing positive outcomes for students.
  • A desire and capacity to take on departmental leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire support and develop colleagues.
  • A collaborative and forwardthinking approach to curriculum and pedagogy.

You will be joining a wellresourced department with:

3 purposebuilt workshops 2 fully equipped Food rooms a dedicated IT room a supportive team of experienced technicians & strong support from senior leaders.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
