Senior Residential Childrens Worker

13.5015.00 per hour 40 hours per week sleep ins

Our client is a wellestablished and compassionate childrens residential care service dedicated to providing safe supportive and nurturing environments where young people can thrive. They are now seeking a dedicatedSenior Residential Childrens Worker to join their experienced team and help shape brighter futures for the children in their care.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will take a key role in the daytoday care and support of children living in the home.

What Were Looking For

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working in a childrens residential home including direct work with safeguarding and challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication leadership and problemsolving skills
  • A calm nonjudgemental approach and a genuine passion for supporting young people

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent childcentred care within the home ensuring safeguarding and emotional wellbeing are at the forefront
  • Lead shifts and mentor junior staff promoting best practices and teamwork
  • Help create structured routines encourage educational engagement and plan meaningful activities
  • Support children through emotional challenges with empathy and resilience
  • Maintain accurate records contribute to care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
