We are seeking an Analytics Governance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing a robust governance framework for key analytics outputs across our EMEA operations. This includes metrics reports dashboards and modelsensuring they meet legal regulatory and industry standards.
You will lead the development of a crossfunctional Analytics Governance Framework that aligns with our existing Data Governance standards and extends best practices to the lifecycle management of key data outputs. This includes guiding development maintenance change management and compliance processes across analytics teams.
The successful candidate will collaborate across business functions helping to mandate and embed consistent standards while educating stakeholders at all levels on the importance and benefits of analytics governance. A strategic thinker and excellent communicator youll have the ability to challenge existing practices in a constructive way and foster a culture of transparency innovation and accountability.
Tasks
- Champion analytics governance principles and define what good looks like in this space.
- Design and implement an Analytics Governance Framework that supports enterprisewide standards.
- Identify classify and catalogue Key Data Outputs (KDOs) across all departments.
- Lead assessments and remediation planning to align KDOs with governance expectations.
- Track compliance activities and support stakeholders through training and coaching.
- Promote deduplication and decommissioning of legacy or redundant analytics assets.
- Ensure alignment with BCBS239 and other relevant datarelated regulatory standards.
- Maintain an uptodate catalogue of KDOs including required metadata and lineage.
- Perform maturity assessments and drive continuous improvement in analytics practices.
- Work closely with teams to define and challenge key metrics to ensure consistency.
Requirements
- Proven experience establishing analytics or End User Computing (EUC) governance within large organizations.
- Familiarity with BCBS239 principles; ECB onboarding experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cataloguing tools (e.g. Collibra) and data lineage concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to train coach and mentor teams on governance frameworks.
- Solid experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across varied business functions.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and analytics solution delivery.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to creatively scope and deliver solutions.
