Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker to work in a residential care setting.

We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we dont offer sponsorship and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.

Rate of Pay: 14.40 17.60 per hour

Summary:

Enfield Council is seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Workers (Scale 3) to join our Adult Social Care team. As a Care Worker you will play a vital role in delivering highquality personcentered care and support to individuals in their own homes or community settings. Your focus will be on promoting independence dignity and wellbeing for residents who require assistance due to age disability or illness.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the values and standards of Enfield Council.
  • Adhere to safeguarding procedures and promote a safe respectful environment at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with families carers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care delivered using council systems.
  • Support individuals with meal preparation medication prompts and light household tasks.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care

Essentials:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role ideally within adult social care or community care settings.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults including older people or those with disabilities or longterm conditions.
  • Knowledge of personcentred care principles and the ability to apply them in practice.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
