Hours Worked: 8:00am - 5:00pm; Start/End times are subject to change
Work under direction of immediate supervisor & clean & maintain living facilities for the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Cadet classes (e.g. prepare dormitory rooms for students distribute & pick up linens periodically make beds & remove & hang drapes assist in counting & receiving incoming & outgoing linen supplies);
Sweep mop strip wax polish & renew floor surfaces;
Clean & shampoo rugs & carpets;
Wash walls clean dusts & wax furniture & fixtures;
Clean glass & mirrors;
Clean & empty trash receptacles;
Clean restrooms & shower rooms;
Assist in set up & clean-up of classrooms training programs seminars meetings & other events;
Check in supplies & stock supply closets;
Report need for equipment repair & evidence of fire illegal entry & theft of property;
Report any violation of Academy Rules & Regulations to supervisor;
Perform miscellaneous related duties as requested by supervisor.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary. In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2) revised code Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
