Job Description
Tangany based in Munich is a highly innovative technology company with a marketleading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. cryptocurrencies tokenized assets NFTs). Our solution is already used by more than 40 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority BaFin.
Using our modern blockchain API we enable our customers to easily and securely integrate blockchain functionalities into their systems. This whitelabel solution saves high development costs and time enabling fast market access and easy usability for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for appropriate assets via Tanganys crypto custody license if required.
For our continued growth we are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team starting from September 2025 and play a key role in a highly efficient crossfunctional environment. As part of the Tangany Platform Engineering Team you will design and develop a scalable and reliable Internal Developer Platform (IDP) significantly streamlining operations and enhancing productivity across our product services.
Tasks
- Manage and configure core Microsoft Azure services to ensure a robust and scalable infrastructure.
- Automate provisioning testing and deployment using advanced CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Implement endtoend observability solutions with tools like Azure Monitor Grafana Prometheus and OpsGenie.
- Champion infrastructure excellence by ensuring security reliability performance and costefficiency.
- Collaborate closely with API and Blockchain development teams to enhance developer productivity and user experience.
- Advise product owners technical leads and other stakeholders on best practices in release management deployment automation and testing strategies to effectively support new product designs.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software development DevOps and release management.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure including service design deployment and management.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes ideally Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
- Proficiency in Terraform Shell scripting and Gitbased workflows.
- Strong experience in monitoring and alerting with Log Analytics Workspaces Application Insights Prometheus Grafana and OpsGenie.
- Solid expertise in Azure networking (VNETs NAT Firewalls Private Link Front Door WAF DNS).
- A strong focus on implementing and maintaining security best practices.
- Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Ideally: indepth experience with APIs automated API testing staging/bluegreen deployments and static code analysis tools.
- Enthusiasm for blockchain technologies; blockchain knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English (> B2); German is a plus.
