The newly created Director of Marketing and Communications role has the opportunity to shape our overall communications strategy to build awareness with potential investors customers and other stakeholders of the impact and potential of MineSense.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing and Communications to lead our customer marketing corporate communications investor financial and strategic ecosystem communications branding press releases and internal communications. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand image presenting the optimal view of our company to all stakeholders and driving marketing strategies.
Note: This role is currently an individual contributor position without direct reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our valueadd solutions for critical minerals in the mining industry.
- Develop and execute investor relations strategies to effectively communicate our companys vision performance and growth potential to the investment community of financial sponsors and large OEMs
- Lead corporate communications initiatives including branding social media press releases media relations and investor relations.
- Manage branding efforts to enhance our market presence and reputation and to ensure our future customers understand our solutions and value.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create compelling content for various channels including digital print and social media.
- Monitor and analyze market trends competitor activities and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with keystakeholders including industry partners media investors and customers.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure alignment and engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all communications and marketing materials.
- Evaluate and contract external providers to provide a full and robust communications delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing and communications role preferably within a high profile technology or digital / SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate communications branding marketing principles and investor communications.
- A recognized master at crafting powerful messaging and positioning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish language skills a definite asset.
- Must have a valid passport for travel within North America for tradeshows (approx. 68X/year).
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
$135000 $155000 a year
The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience knowledge and skills they bring to MineSense market data based on their location as well as internal equity. Keeping this mind the salary offered can be outside of the range posted.
