About the role:
The Software Engineer supports the design development and ongoing improvement of digital solutions that support the Universitys strategic and operational needs. Operating within agile and DevOpsenabled delivery environments the role applies sound engineering practices to build enhance and maintain enterprise applications and services.
As a Software Engineer you will:
- Design develop test and deploy software solutions that meet user and business needs.
- Resolve or assist in the resolution of technical issues across platforms applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers architects and stakeholders to implement solutions aligned to technical and functional requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and refinement of team processes tools and delivery practices. Seek opportunities to enhance efficiencies innovation service improvements and operational excellence.
- Follow established design patterns and standards to ensure maintainability scalability and security.
What you will bring:
- Salesforce development experience that you can use to hit the ground running
- A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Proven programming experience across a range of applications platforms and technologies.
- Practical experience applying the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in enterprise environments including contributing to software development configuration and enhancement within teambased settings.
- Experience working in crossfunctional teams and agile delivery and DevOps environments.
