Whats the role
Are you an experienced Executive Manager ready to make a significant impact Join Westpac as the driving force behind risk management and monitoring for our Customer Assist team. Your mission will be to lead a team of risk professionals to embed robust risk management frameworks policies and controls across the Customer Assist business (Collections) fostering a strong risk culture that harmonises commercial and customer needs.
This fulltime permanent position is based in either Adelaide or Sydney. Youll collaborate closely with the Assist leadership team on all risk and control matters developing pragmatic solutions and leading a team of dedicated risk professionals to achieve our business objectives.
What do I need
- Youll lead a team of 1015 risk professionals with confidence and clarity fostering a collaborative and highperforming environment.
- Develop and implement pragmatic solutions to complex risk and control issues ensuring effective endtoend implementation.
- Enable a strong incident management lifecycle assisting in incident rectification and remediation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders working closely to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices.
- Provide indepth insights and support for regulatory requests and remediation ensuring compliance and robust risk management.
- Innovate and adapt in a dynamic environment balancing commercial acumen with a strong focus on customer needs and risk culture development.
