The Role
Exciting opportunity to bring your creativity and story ideas to the News team in SA.
Broadly the role involves creating highquality digital and broadcast news content through videography photography and video editing skills. The role will include:
- Working collaboratively with journalists producers and directors to achieve excellent and creative visual treatment of news stories.
- Delivering distinctive video content that adds significant value to the newsroom output across broadcast and digital platforms.
- Using high level camera and video editing skills to help deliver excellent digital and broadcast news content.
- Engaging in News events and issues to developproduction ideas and concepts for stories and story projects.
Position Description:MULTI SKILLED OPERATOR
You havehighlevel knowledge and advanced skillsto film and edit high quality video content as well as excellent photography skills and:
- Experience using a broad mix of skills to deliver superb video and digital news content.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the newsroom team.
- An understanding of changing audience news consumption habits and how that impacts news operations roles.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts across a sevenday roster and to adapt to changing work practices as required.
- 15.4% ABC Nominated super.
