The Role
Exciting opportunity to bring your creativity and story ideas to the News team in NT. Broadly the role involves creating video and graphics content across broadcast and digital news. Reporting to the News Editor NT the role will include:
- Working collaboratively with journalists producers and directors to achieve excellent and creative visual treatment of news stories.
- Delivering distinctive video content that adds significant value to the newsroom output across broadcast and digital platforms.
- High level editing and effects editing in a highpressure environment.
- Engaging in News events and issues to developproduction ideas and concepts for stories and story projects.
Position Description:MULTISKILLED OPERATOR
About You
You havehighlevel knowledge and advanced skillsto edit and create high quality video content and motion graphics and:
- Sound independent artistic judgement in video editing.
- Familiarity and experience in use of programs such as Adobe Creative Suite Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the newsroom team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts across a sevenday roster and to adapt to changing work practices as required.
