At Plenty Kids what is possible has not been predefined. Mutual discovery and learning is fostered so that each childs unique way of experiencing being and interacting with the world can be recognised and supported. Our sessional kindergarten programs are a safe and nurturing environment where children are learning about themselves others and Gods incredible creation.
About the Role
We are seeking passionate and lively Relief Co Educators to join our Plenty Kids team on a casual basis. In this position the Relief Co Educators will work with other staff to implement the Early Childhood programs engage the children in creative education programs and support the physical and emotional needs of the children.
About the College
Plenty Valley Christian College (PVCC) is a kindergarten to Year 12 coeducational Christian College of more than 950 students. We are one College with five subschools: Kindergarten Early Years Junior Years Middle Years and Senior Years.
The College is set in a magnificent rural area with spectacular views to the ranges. PVCC is committed to developing high quality effective Christian education and is an active member of a national network of Christian schools in Australia known as Christian Education National. We are committed to the establishment of a close partnership with parents in the education of their children. Our aim is to offer quality education with a fully integrated Christian worldview develop a strong sense of community amongst the students parents and staff with every staff member playing a role in the pastoral care of the students.
Plenty Kids is a sessional kindergarten within the College grounds.
About You
You will:
Have the ability to model Christian ethics and activity
Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Have strong communication skills and an ability to build a relationship with students staff and parents
Have an understanding of Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
Hold a current Working With Children card
Hold current First Aid and Anaphylaxis / Asthma certificates preferred but not essential
