Job Description
Join Nines Television Finance team as a Senior Finance Business Analyst on a rewarding 12month parental leave contract!
Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering News & Current Affairs youll be instrumental in driving the financial performance of our News and Current Affairs division through expert reporting forecasting and strategic insights while fostering companywide finance and business collaboration.
Day to day you will:
- Deliver monthend reporting and analysis for News & Current Affairs programs liaising with key stakeholders
- Analyse monthly expenses ensuring budget alignment and identifying efficiencies
- Present financial performance and forecasts to management suggesting and implementing improvements
- Drive process improvements and streamline business requirements within News & Current Affairs
- Oversee staff approval paperwork for News & Current Affairs ensuring compliance
- Develop detailed annual departmental budgets identifying cost efficiencies

What youll bring:
- Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) with strong Excel proficiency
- Exceptional analytical and reconciliation skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently under deadlines
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Dedication to maintaining high standards of work quality
- Experience using D365 or TM1 is preferred but not essential
