YOU
As a Territory Sales Representative (TSR) Truss you will be responsible for growing sales within the Component Manufacturing market segment while creating and maintaining effective relationships with component manufacturing customers. Your goal for these relationships will be to promote Simpsons ICS (Integrated Component Systems) software suite related hardware products and machinery. This encompasses job management design and analysis for prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses estimating wall panel design and engineered wood products.
You will lead and participate in training sessions/workshops in and out of the territory. These workshops require scheduling promotion setup presentation and takedown as well as providing observation and suggestions for improvement. You will work with Regional Sales Managers Operations Product Management Marketing and other TSRs to implement sales strategies and communicate appropriate market trends to ensure customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING(% of Time)
Drive demand and grow sales in the defined marketplace. Prospect and qualify sales opportunities through field visits telephone email networking tradeshows and industry events to achieve company business objectives. Analyze industry and market needs and develop appropriate strategies forecast territory demand and provide support as needed by the customer and/or in securing and maintaining product specifications. (60%)
Ensure existing customers are utilizing the software to its greatest capability by providing salesoriented software demonstrations and technical support. Be called on as a subject matter expect and communicate customer needs and challenges to various teams and product managers and work jointly to provide solutions. (25%)
Promote Simpson StrongTie as an industry partner participate in tradeshows association meetings and various committees. Provide educational opportunities in classroom settings throughout your territory including but not limited to truss yards wall panel plants and contractors. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to consistent CRM management and usage scheduling business planning submitting expense reports in a timely manner regular maintenance of companyowned vehicles and other duties as assigned (15%)

This job operates in both a professional office environment customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones printers/scanners etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
Travel
This position requires domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time.

This fulltime exempt position is located in Riverside CA.

Relocation is not available for this position.
Pay
$78300 $111900 / year
