TMD Staffing in Kyle TXis hiring second shift FILLER/CAPPING MACHINE OPERATOR for a wellknown salsa manufacturing company in Buda TX. Training for this role will be done on 1st shift and will move to 2nd shift when the training is completed.

We need solid employees with high work ethics that are looking for a future permanent home. This job is a temptohire position and will transition to permanent once the probationary period is met. Seeking an experienced FILLER/CAPPING MACHINE OPERATORworking with mass preparation quantities will be a plus for the qualified candidate. These jobs are interview and resume based. Being bilingual in English / Spanish is a great plus


Compensation and Pay $16.10/HRwith payrate increase when transitioned to permanent. Weekly Pay Electronic Deposit.

SCHEDULE:

Training Shift: 5AM to 1:30PM need flexibility on end time due to production schedule

Regular Shift: Tuesday to Friday 6PM to 6AM need flexibility on end time and available on off days based on production needs. (12hour shifts)


Job Description:

  • Monitor capping operations to maintain adequate lid levels and lid torque.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain continuous capping operation.
  • Monitor filler operation to ensure correct fill/weight levels and adjust as necessary.
  • Monitor and record temperatures at beginning middle and end of batch.
  • Complete daily documentation and turn in daily at end of shift.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Notify QA or Production Supervisor of glass breaks and fill out glass break report.
  • Keep the work area clean.
  • Change out guides and adjust rails when necessary and after glass change.
  • Rinse out filler grease plugs and pistons after a recipe change when necessary.


Requirements:

  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • Open to flexible schedule
  • Be able to stand throughout shift.
  • Be able to lift 3035lbs.
  • Be able to follow record data in English.
  • Be able to wear Rubber/nonslip shoes
  • Not have a problem with repetitious hand movements
  • No face piercings
  • No false nails or false eyelashes
  • Have reliable transportation
  • No jewelry on neck fingers or wrists
  • Be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Eligible to work in the USA
