NBCUniversals Owned Television station in the Denver Colorado KDEN TV is looking for a skilled Multiplatform Content Producer to help take our streaming content and newscasts to a new level. This position reports to the Executive Producer.
Were looking for someone whos passionate about news loves breaking news and has a creative vision for crafting live programs. Youll work closely with producers creative services to create innovative uptotheminute content that resonates with our viewers.
The ideal candidate loves to collaborate wants to help lead a team and is ready to take on new challenges to help us continue to grow. Youll work closely with our streaming products and help us continue to find new ways to reach our audience no matter what platform they are on.
Responsibilities:
- Produce newscasts live special coverage and other programs for streaming platforms and newscast.
- Responsible for overall production content and every element of each newscast.
- Select assign write and organize news stories. Write headlines teases.
- Leadership: take responsibility for own actions and take risks for the team and be a team player.
- Contribute story ideas participate in daily coverage decisions and editorial meetings.
- Complete discrepancy reports with detail and accuracy to help prevent future problems.
- Produce a variety of multimedia content including videos articles infographics and podcasts for the organizations website and digital platforms.
- Clearly communicate your vision to producers executive producer and creative services team.
- Have knowledge of digital video production including scripting shooting and editing digital video pieces understand social media and video distribution platforms VOD and AVOD (FAST)
- Basic knowledge of camera operation/editing skills
- Create curate and optimize content specifically tailored for FAST Channels OTT and digital considering audience preferences and platformspecific requirements.
- Develop an understanding of our streaming and nonlinear products and consistently contribute to them.
- Quickly adjust to late changes and be aggressive in breaking news coverage.
- Backup producer as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- The MultiPlatform Content Producer surfaces the best content for broadcast and digital by maintaining regular communication with newsgathering and management team.
- Reports directly to the Executive Producer.
Qualifications :
Eligibility Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

- Must be willing to work in Centennial Colorado
- Must have the ability to work any shift
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must accept Solutions as NBCUniversals Dispute Resolution program
Desired:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience segment producing and/or generating content across multiple platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of libel law and applicable FCC rules and regulations.
- Personal initiative and ability to work with managers.
- Displays a positive work ethic and a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to create urgent engaging and conversational news copy and visuals under tight deadlines.
- Team player who is flexible and works well under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Required OnSite: This position is required to be performed fulltime from an NBCUniversaldesignated worksite.

Salary Range: $60000 $70000 (based on experience)
