Spur a digital staffing agency is seeking energetic and dependable Activity Leaders to support the Town of Palm Beachs recreational programs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fastpaced environment while maintaining professionalism and adhering to the guidelines set by the town and Spur.
Activity Leaders are responsible for organizing conducting and supervising variousindoor and outdoor games and activities for children of all ages. This role also includes assisting with specialized programs such as seasonal sports special events and facility setups and ensuring proper facility upkeep. The Activity Leader works under the direct supervision of the Recreation Supervisor and is expected to represent the program positively and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and supervise children of all ages with patience and enthusiasm.
- Plan and lead indoor/outdoor recreational activities under the guidance of the Recreation Supervisor.
- Assist in organizing and conducting monthly schedules for specialized programs including seasonal sports and athletic activities.
- Coach and officiate various sports programs such as flag football soccer basketball and lacrosse.
- Support special events by assisting with setup implementation and cleanup.
- Oversee participant safety and ensure proper recreation programs and facility operations coverage.
- Perform essential facility maintenance ensuring indoor and outdoor areas remain safe and clean.
- Assist with event room setups including arranging tables chairs and related equipment.
- Supervise children in summer camps holiday camps and afterschool programs.
- Provide customer service support by answering phones sharing program details and registering participants.
- Lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Prior experience working with children is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Hourly Pay: $13.84 $22.16 per hour (based on experience)
- Flexible Schedule: Shifts vary depending on program needs.
