Job Description
A global leader in packaging machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its highperforming service team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges enjoys travel and is passionate about delivering excellent customer support.
What Youll Do:
Install troubleshoot repair and maintain packaging machinery at customer sites
Train operators and technicians on equipment setup operation and maintenance
Assist with machine upgrades rebuilds and aftermarket component assembly
Respond to urgent service calls and provide technical guidance
Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for internal and customer use
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams for ongoing improvements
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in a technical field or 8 years of relevant experience
3 years in custom machinery manufacturing or mechanical repair/maintenance
Strong mechanical and electrical skills including experience with:
AllenBradley PLCs
Servo/stepper motors and controls
Pneumatic systems
Ability to read complex schematics and engineering drawings
Experience in the packaging industry is a plus
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Selfstarter with strong problemsolving and multitasking abilities
Willingness to travel up to 85% domestically and internationally
