Job Description

Red River Hospital is the leading provider of inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare in Wichita Falls TX. Our treatment services & specialized programs address drug and alcohol addiction and cooccurring mental illness.

Red River Hospital has been a leader in behavioral healthcare for over 40 years providing superior healthcare treatment to the people communities and military installations we serve. We are a private inpatient 96 bed acute psychiatric facility dedicated to the treatment of behavioral health and substance abuse services. Located in Wichita Falls Texas Red River Hospital provides mental health and substance abuse treatment to the following populations:

  • Dedicated military personnel
  • Adults
  • Seniors
  • Children and adolescents (ages 5 through 18)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen dining or serving areas.
  • Properly prepare serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
  • Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
  • Prepare foods according to standardized recipes.
  • Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
  • Understand and apply the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment.
  • Adhere to menu compliance special diet compliance and report any dietary noncompliance concern or complaint of patients to supervisor or manager.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification where required by the state and facility.

SCHEDULE:

  • 8 hour shifts rotating weekends.
