$22/hr $41.50/hr based on experience

Duties & Responsibilities
Identify diagnose and resolve tractor related issues on Hirschbachs fleet ofFreightliner (predominantly) Kenworth and Internationals.
Complete jobs such as: PMs electrical diagnosis air brakes suspension and steering after treatment repairs charging system repairs AC repairs etc.
Properly categorize repairs according to company standards: Preventative Maintenance Components failures Abuse Accident and Operations.
Accurately and efficiently record parts and supplies used in performing repairs which may include scanning bar codes of parts and recording consumable supplies.
Accurately and efficiently record repair stories to properly document complaints causes and corrections of component failures and enable the company to recover warrantable expenses.

Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Provide excellent customer service communicating clearly and professionally with drivers and fleet managers.
Stay up to date with the latest industry technology and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
Assist other Technicians as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Talent Requirements
12 years in fleet maintenance or a Technical School Degree preferred.
Certifications such as 609 Diamler Cummins and Navistar preferred.
Experience with DTNA Cummins Insite Bendix etc.
Previous experience with repair maintenance and diagnosis of Class 8 equipment which is not limited to general driver repair requests warranty repair onboard vehicle electronics etc.
CDL A or B (preferred not required)
Valid Drivers License
Language Proficiency Requirements Proficiency in English (speaking reading and writing) is required for this position as it is essential for daily communication and performing job duties effectively.
