Are you ready to take on a key role in shaping the operations of a fastgrowing international company
We are looking for a Business Operations Manager (m/f/d) who will work directly with our Country Manager and contribute to operational excellence and strategic initiatives across Slovakia the Czech Republic and Poland.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of the business from improving internal processes and driving digital transformation to preparing market expansion plans and who wants to make a visible impact in a dynamic environment.
Tasks
Strategic Planning and Business Development
- Prepare business cases for new laboratory equipment department expansions and market entries (e.g. Germany or Austria)
- Support decisionmaking by conducting financial and strategic analyses for investments
Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency
- Map existing and new operational processes identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Create visual documentation (e.g. process flowcharts swimlane diagrams) to support the implementation of new procedures
Project Management and Planning
- Develop and maintain project timelines and capacity planning models
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure structured planning and smooth execution
Reporting and Data Analysis
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Build reports and dashboards to identify trends and support datadriven decisions
Interlaboratory Collaboration
- Identify opportunities for cooperation between laboratories in different regions
- Facilitate shared resource planning and knowledge transfer across the group
Digital Transformation
- Support the implementation of our internal Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Help laboratories transition from manual tools (e.g. Excel Word templates) to a stable cloudbased infrastructure
International Expansion
- Contribute to market analyses operational planning and local setup for new markets
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and internal project teams
ProblemSolving and Implementation Support
- Actively identify obstacles in projects or daily operations and take steps to resolve them efficiently
- Support teams onsite when necessary especially during implementation phases
Requirements
- Completed higher education (Bachelors or Masters level) in business economics engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in operations project management consulting or a comparable role
- Strong analytical skills and confident working with Excel Google Sheets and business intelligence tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership of projects
- Broad skill set and the ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Customeroriented thinking and a proactive approach to delivering solutions
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Fluency in English and/or German is required
- Willingness to travel and a valid drivers license (Category B)

- A gross monthly salary between 1800 and 3000 depending on your qualifications and the agreed form of collaboration (employment contract or freelance)
