Job Description
insightsoftware is seeking a Solutions Engineer with experience in EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) reporting directly to the Manager of Solutions Engineering. This position will handle product demonstrations presales support and partner enablement for our Enterprise Performance Management business unit. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our sales and postsales teams providing expert guidance to prospects on how our products can address their specific business challenges. You should have a consulting mindset and experience mapping customer requirements to software solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our solutions including features benefits and competitive advantages.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor presentations that demonstrate how our solutions can meet those requirements.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations highlighting the value and capabilities of our offerings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Solution Design: Work closely with prospects to design custom solutions that align with their business processes and objectives.
- Proposal Development: Assist in crafting detailed proposals and responses to RFPs ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with prospect needs.
- Feedback Loop: Gather insights from prospect interactions to inform product development and enhance our solutions.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer or similar role is preferred
- Relevant EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) experience is a requirement
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Computer Science or related discipline required or equivalent work experience
- Be mobile and travel to client locations occasionally
- Fluent in English preference will be given to Chinese speaking candidates
- High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
