Job Description
Conducts sourcing activities to support parts solution and service business.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop target costing and achieves the targets through utilization of the cost analysis tools vendor negotiations etc.
Conducts supplier research & analysis when required evaluates & identifies potential new vendors to meet the business needs. Optimizes the supply base that provides competitive advantages in terms of cost quality delivery and technology.
Drives supplier performance strategic alignment and sustainability through effective supplier communications & relationship maintenance as well as continuous supplier improvement initiatives.
Works with BU and the vendors to identify potential cost saving opportunities by improving the specifications and conducting the tear down sessions and develops cost reduction proposals based on these activities on an ongoing basis.
Regularly evaluate supplier s performance of delivery quality and service expectations to meet the contract requirement.
Prepares the sourcing reports to the management and the crossfunctional teams on the regular basis to drive process improvements and better sourcing management and internal communication.
Represents Procurement in crossfunctional communications to align on the sourcing plans/initiatives and solicit necessary support in achieving operational excellence through internal cooperation and collaborations.
Focus on the companys productivity objectives and establish good relationships with key suppliers to drive cost saving.
Complies with the companys code of conduct and business process to make sure the businesses go on smoothly.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering /supply chain/Business is better.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
More than 5 years experience in sourcing management including more than 3 years project sourcing experience.
Good people management skills.
Effective leadership team work communications and influencing skills.
Good written oral communication skills in English & Mandarin.
Able to work under pressure and on multiple tasks at the same time with good time management skills.

Minimum 8 years of experience with 2 to 3 years in managerial position in procurement, vendor management, sourcing. Result oriented person. Data driven. Ability to work in a multi-tasking dynamic distribution hub environment. Strong problem solver, Think out of the box, comfortable with ambiguity. Challenge the norms and lead change. Strong interpersonal skills. Shipping knowledge. Lean project experience. Knowledge of ISO preferred. Fluent in English and Chinese. Oracle and SAP users. MS Office user. Capable of analyzing large amounts of data and handling complex situations. Possess change and process mindset. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Quick thinking and fast execution with good problem solving skills. Ability to understand concept and communicate effectively. Positive attitude with a Winning mindset.
