Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline (Mechanical Chemical Electrical etc.).
  • Experience in oil and gas operations or project delivery including operational readiness or management role.
  • Mastery of asset lifecycle maintenance planning and safety management systems.
  • Experience working in largescale EPC/EPCM projects and remote or offshore environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Readiness Planning:
  1. Develop and implement the sitebased operational readiness plan in alignment with project schedules and operations requirements.
  2. Establish readiness milestones and KPIs to track progress toward operational acceptance.
  • Interface Management:
  1. Act as the interface between project delivery teams (engineering construction commissioning) and the operations organization.
  2. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition to operational control.
  • Systems & Procedures:
  1. Ensure development and delivery of operational procedures maintenance strategies safety case documentation and asset integrity plans.
  2. Aid the establishment of systems (CMMS ERP integration etc.) and infrastructure required for operations.
  • Training & Proficiency:
  1. Oversee the delivery of training programs for operations and maintenance staff.
  2. Validate readiness of personnel through Proficiency assessments and prestartup drills.
  • Risk Management & Assurance:
  1. Identify risks to operational readiness and implement mitigation plans.
  2. Spearhead readiness reviews audits and prestartup safety reviews (PSSR).
  • Handover & StartUp Assistance:
  1. Define acceptance criteria and manage phased handover of systems from construction.
  2. Assist operations during initial startup ensuring smooth rampup and safe operations.
