Summary
Are you looking to take part in a Procurement transformation at the worlds largest manufacturer and distributor of hospital supplies We are looking for a result driven Procurement Buyer with a passion for driving value who wants to join our company mission to save and sustain lives.
The team member in this role will be supporting our Manufacturing Plants and Commercial Offices within the EMEA regions primarily focused on CapEx (Design Construction Equipment).
This position will be responsible for supporting procurement excellence and driving best value for the categories under management with key focus on cost quality and service. This role involves project management across several functions business units and global sites and collaborating closely with business partners.
What youll be doing
Collaborating with internal partners and use these relationships to support the implementation of category strategies pipeline items and short/medium/longterm goals to support the ongoing delivery of value pipeline.
Performing in depth spend analysis and market analysis on targeted areas of spend.
Supporting your supervisor in the development and execution of annual savings plans.
Developing RFI/RFPs and lead negotiations for key spend areas to achieve shortterm and longterm savings targets.
Supporting the supplier selection and contract negotiation process for key projects you are assigned.
Sharing regular progress updates for specific categories with Senior Management and with essential internal partners.
Working with cross functional teams to drive various types of sourcing projects that span from easy to complex.
Registering the projects pipeline in the appropriate sourcing tools and provide regular reporting as to their status and expected benefits.
Supporting in the implementation of the defined sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers.
Generating regular reports for the category lead concerning the categories of spend under your responsibility.
Driving effective Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers and monitor performance.
Stimulating and supporting innovation by using the supplier base regularly reviewing market developments and mobilizing the appropriate internal network.
What youll bring
University degree or equivalent experience in Finance Engineering or Business.
Minimum 3 years of category procurement experience or other business experience. With multinational organizations a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Business insight and ability to develop critical thinking.
Ability to work in a multicultural and matrix environment.
Ability to work efficiently with virtual teams.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment while balancing priorities.
Ability to coordinate multiple parallel sourcing initiatives across different business groups.
Analytic and negotiation skills.
Proficient in English is a must other foreign language would be a huge asset.
Good understanding of Procurement standard processes supply markets suppliers and products.
