At Roche we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with inperson collaboration. For now we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs such as workshops conferences town halls team meetings and other collaborative events.
The Position:
The Senior Software Engineer will be a leading contributor to the team applying extensive expertlevel knowledge of design principles and practices to the architecture design and implementation of complex enterprisescale digital health applications. Responsibilities will include leading the design architecture and implementation of solutions to serve patients and healthcare practitioners across a broad portfolio of therapeutic areas.
The Opportunity:
Design implementation and maintenance of highquality software that performs at scale.
Introduce new ideas that improve our development practices.
Share knowledge within frontend community and mentor junior engineers.
Drive architectural decisions.
Who you are:
You have proficiency in React (Angular is a plus) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
You have experience with Modern FrontEnd Tooling and AI support for software development.
You know how to build Responsive and Accessible Web applications.
You understand Backend API concepts.
You care about code quality.
You understand Cloud (preferably AWS).
