Job Description
- Analyze offers and draft summary reports and specifications at all stages of design (tender preliminary design definitive design project)
- Participate in the selection of technical solutions (financial estimates sizing of technical solutions installation diagnostics ...)
- Lead the technical design and implementation of solutions for projects ensuring compliance with local standards and project specifications
- Conduct inspections to assess the quality of work and ensure the technical acceptance of installations at the end of the works specifying corrective work if necessary
- Actively contribute to the groups technical signature visibility among our clients and prospects (e.g. publishing technical articles participating in tenders speaking at specialized conferences mentoring )
- Contribute to technical communities and collaborate with the Egis Experts network to integrate and disseminate best practices
- Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on or usefulness to the organization
- Maintain external accreditations and an indepth understanding of current and emerging external regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in civil or mechanical engineering (automation electrical engineering and electronics) and have a professional license.
- Experience in rail track / civil engineering with a strong focus on technical excellence.
- Proven experience in presenting at technical conferences and publishing in academic journals.
- Indepth knowledge of international railway track standards in design and build context of railway in an international environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on effective engagement with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions and methodically process and organize technical information from various documents
- Ability to share and transmit expertise
- Preparation of technical documentation for feasibility studies construction and detailed designs for overhead line and traction power supply design in accordance with the schedule and required quality of design work and in coordination with other trades
- Preparation of technical specifications estimates and branch cost estimates for documentation (Norma Excel program)
- Participation in meetings with the Client
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (minimum B2 level).
