Job Description:
Analyze design code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance enhancements and/or development work.
Summary:
As a Software Development Engineer you will be responsible for analyzing designing coding and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working with Java Enterprise Edition performing maintenance enhancements and development work to ensure the smooth functioning of the software.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Analyze design code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients.
Perform maintenance enhancements and/or development work.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the software.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to identify and resolve software defects.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Experience with objectoriented programming and design patterns.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
This position is based in Manila.
