TASQ is currently seeking an accounting staff member to join our team onsite in Pasig with an immediate start date. The initial prescreening interview will be conducted via phone so please ensure your phone line is accessible.
**Position:** Accounting Staff (Pasig)
**Work Setup:** Onsite in Pasig
**Work Hours:** 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday) and 8:00 AM 3:00 PM (two Saturdays each month)
**Main Responsibilities:**
1. **Bank Reconciliation & Financial Transactions**
Perform bank reconciliations for multiple company accounts
Record daily bank debits related to duties and taxes
Process local check payments to suppliers and ensure all documentation is complete
2. **Bookkeeping & Journal Entries**
Prepare journal vouchers and accurately record financial transactions
Maintain and update accounting ledgers and records
Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and relevant financial regulations
3. **Cash Disbursement & Receipt Management**
Record daily cash disbursements and receipts in the accounting system
Monitor and verify the accuracy of cash flow transactions
Assist in petty cash management and related disbursement activities
**Qualifications & Requirements:**
Bachelors degree in Accountancy Business Administration (major in Finance or Accounting Management)
12 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Fresh graduates are welcome especially those with OJT experience in accounting functions
