Job Description
Are you an experienced class 5 driver looking for your next role Were looking for a professional and proactive driver who is passionate about driving to join our growing business.
In this position you will deliver chilled and frozen food to businesses throughout the Christchurch Metro region. We are after someone who is selfmotivated with a positive attitude and is competent in operating all combination units proficient with reversing and working to strict time deadlines. This is a Monday to Saturday day shift metro run where you will be required to start at 6am and work an 8 10 hour day.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role youll need:
- A full & clean Class 5 license with a minimum of 3 years NZ Class 5 driving experience ideally within refrigerated transport
- To be competent operating all combination units & proficient with reversing onto a raised dock
- Hold a current counterbalance forkhoist licence & be able to load & unload trucks from a raised dock
- Previous pallet jack experience as there is a fair bit of physical work involved
- A working knowledge of Eroad & TruckMate would be advantageous
