Working in The Global Environmental Markets team

The vacancy is in the Global Environmental Markets (GEM) team which is responsible for sourcing balancing and selling environmental commodities linked to Statkrafts own assets as well as the assets of our customers around the globe. The team is located in Amsterdam and London.

Your role will include:

• Focus will be to originate and trade Energy Attribute Certificates specifically Biomethane. There is scope to expand the product scope to other environmental commodities.
• Build and maintain strong and longterm relations with customers and business partners.
• Conceptualize structure evaluate and close deals.
• Manage end to end processes from origination onboarding contracting to trading around the portfolio positions.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and support units to ensure proper management and the execution of the trades.
• Maximize value creation by coordinating with other origination teams on similar or related products.

Qualifications :

About you: 

• Proven trading experience within environmental markets preferably biomethane ideally with an established network of counterparties.
• Strong negotiation and intrapersonal skills.
• Proven ability to perform multiple tasks under time pressure and in challenging environment.
• Articulate good relationship management skills
• Good team player with a high level of personal integrity
• Fluent in English; strong command of another European language (preferably German) is an advantage
