Essential Responsibilities
Originate residential mortgage loans through self-generated leads and referrals
Spend at least 50% of time outside the office building referral relationships and networking
Conduct pre-qualification interviews and guide borrowers through the application process
Evaluate financial information and recommend appropriate loan products
Submit loan files for processing and underwriting within company timelines
Lock in rates and programs when requested
Maintain compliance with investor legal and company policies
Cultivate professional relationships with realtors builders and referral partners
Stay current on all company lending products policies and regulations
What Were Looking For
Active NMLS license through CA-DFPI
Minimum 1 year of recent residential lending experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Client-focused and solutions-driven
Self-starter who actively builds business
Drive consistency and a strong desire for professional growth

Compensation Disclosure
This is a commission-only position. The expected commission range depends on loan amount structure and volume. Actual compensation will vary based on individual performance commission structure compensation agreement and market conditions.
Employment Status
This position is classified as at-will employment in accordance with California law. Employment may be terminated by either the employer or employee at any time with or without cause or notice subject to applicable law.
Work Location
This is a field-based role. Loan Originators are expected to spend 50% or more of their time networking meeting with clients and conducting business outside the office. ZABE Mortgage Groups primary office is in Madera CA but flexible arrangements may be available.
