Job Description
- Responsible in generating data analytics and insights by designing and developing reports and dashboards design and build based on business user requirements.
- Utilized Power BI to extract data and build dashboards tailored to business user requirements.
- Serve as the connection between business understanding and data insights.
- Design and construct data ingestion pipelines.
- Design data models to support dashboards and analytical needs.
- Optimize the performance of data ingestion and transformation processes.
- Build relationships with business leaders to understand their pin points and deliver datadriven solutions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to optimize data extraction performance.
- Set up monitoring tools to track performance indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree Postgraduate Diploma or Professional Qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology with 23 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI Tableau and SSRS
- Strong scripting skills in SQL PySpark and Python
- Solid understanding of database systems including PostgreSQL MS SQL and MySQL
- Familiarity with data modeling methodologies such as Medallion Architecture and OBT (One Big Table)
- Experience with data ingestion methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data tools (experience with cloudbased solutions is an added advantage)
- Strong analytical organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Bandar Sunway
