This position is responsible for the legal support to the APM West Med Terminals i.e. three of the most critical container terminals in the network of APM Terminals and Maersk located in Tangier and Algeciras. This essentially means being a crucial business partner to the West Med management on all legal matters related to the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert and role model for standardization and lean way of working.
- Work with stakeholders to build an organization and system for PDM that will support Flow local rollout and integration.
- Ensure all activities for standardization (PDM) rollout are in place and implemented with the right quality and as per the deadline.
- Assess Terminal standardization GAPS and adjust the plan accordingly.
- Proactively identify GAPS and find alternatives to close them.
- Manage transformation and change management related to process design & management.
- Coach & develop local capabilities to enable & speed up the local rollout.
- Coach & develop local capabilities to enhance the WOW maturity on site.
- Ensure adherence to methodology and follow up on implementation effectiveness.
- Ensure alignment between the project PDM team and local PDM team.
- Ensure integration of standardization (PDM) in the WoW of local Terminal.
- Plan all standardization (PDM) activities in coordination with Terminal WOW & standardization team.
- Provide 1st line support to terminal resources related to daily PDM activities
We are looking for :
- Strong skills and experience from Lean Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification
- At least 3 years working in Transformation & Lean familiar with the operating system experience in standardization policy deployment working with the Lean methodology and using Lean tools delivering lean training facilitating kaizens.
- Thorough understanding of container terminal operations
- Minimum lean practitioner (level 3)
- Ability to drive implementation of new processes and support the organizational changes
- Excellent workshop facilitation skills
