Job Description
The Next Generation Architecture (NGA) team at R&D Technology is spearheading a transformative initiative to revolutionize our industryleading enterprise software solutions with industrial AI at its core. Were embarking on an ambitious journey to reimagine the architecture developer experience and user experience of our entire software suite based on modern application development paradigms leveraging native AI technologies. This strategic transformation will deliver exceptional value to our customers while setting new standards for enterprise software innovation. Were seeking an experienced applied AI software engineer to be part of the core engineering team.
As Principal Software Engineer Applied AI you will:
- Lead the architecture design and development of AI experiences
- Implement platforms for secure and guardrailed AI agents including autonomous AI agents
- Know how to leverage AI tools in coding design QA to achieve a high level of productivity
- Demonstrate a deep passion for modern enterprise software architecture developer experience and emerging technology paradigms
- Closely follow the AI technology space and actively pursue AI opportunities
- Implement automated testing for AI agents in CI/CD pipelines
- Implement monitoring cost and resourceoptimization related to AI agents and services.
- Be always curious and a continuous learner
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineering teams.
- Have an open mind and courageous to question technical decisions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience leveraging large language models (LLMs) into products using frameworks like LangChain LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of AI agent design including relevant standards and initiatives like MCP A2A.
- Solid understanding of embedding models semantic search RAG pipelines and vector databases.
- Experience in prompt security guardrailing and response validations.
- Experience with computer vision/image recognition and similar
- Experience designing APIs and backend systems to serve AI models.
- Familiarity with selfhosted LLM:s and platforms
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication patterns
- Experience with CI/CD test automation and secure development practices
- Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- User of AI Coding assistants such as Github Copilot Cursor etc.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
