Job Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth for Pawa IT Solutions cloud solutions portfolio. This role requires a proactive and driven individual with a strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to potential clients. You will be responsible for identifying qualifying and closing new sales opportunities contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the companys growth in the African market.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Lead Generation & Qualification:

  • Proactively identify and generate new leads through various channels including cold calling email marketing social media networking events and referrals.

  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to identify potential customers with a genuine need for Pawa IT Solutions services.

  • Research and understand potential clients businesses industries and pain points.


  1. Sales Process & Client Management:

  • Present Pawa IT Solutions cloud solutions (Google Workspace Google Cloud Platform Kandji Chromebooks) to potential clients in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of our solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.

  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal including proposal development negotiation and contract signing.

  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and track progress in the CRM system.


  1. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Pawa IT Solutions cloud solutions portfolio including features benefits and competitive advantages.

  • Stay uptodate on industry trends competitor activities and emerging technologies in the cloud computing space.

  • Provide feedback to the Sales Program Manager regarding market insights and customer needs.


  1. Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Sales Program Manager and other team members to achieve sales targets.

  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales strategies and materials.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports including activity tracking pipeline management and sales forecasts.

  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.

  • Experience in a sales role preferably in the IT or cloud solutions industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunities.

  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace Google Cloud Platform or other cloud solutions is a plus.

  • Experience with Device Management solutions like Kandji is highly desirable.

  • Must be fluent in English.
