Job Description

Role Summary

Expand Market Reach for Membrane Technologies Drive Regional Growth in Italy

As Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Italy within our Membrane Solutions business unit you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales across the Italian market. You will identify business opportunities build strategic partnerships and position MANNHUMMEL as a leading provider of membranebased water treatment solutions. Working closely with regional sales teams product management and technical experts you will help drive sustainable growth in one of our most promising and futureoriented segments.

Your Tasks

  • Develop new business and strengthen existing customer relationships in Italy
  • Understand customer applications and recommend optimal membrane solutions
  • Contribute to countryspecific sales strategies and support local marketing initiatives
  • Manage product certifications technical documentation and approval processes with clients and consultants
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to define pricing and positioning approaches
  • Overseedaytoday sales operations including quotations order tracking invoicing and customer service
  • Conduct product trainings workshops and represent MANNHUMMEL at trade fairs and industry events
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Technical Teams on pilot projects and solution development
  • Act as the central contact for the Italien market while coordinatingclosely with European colleagues

Your Profile

  • Education: Technicaldegree in Environmental or Process Engineering Business Administration or al related field
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales preferably in the water treatment or membrane filtration sector
  • Expertise:
    • Solid understanding of membrane technologies and water treatment applications
    • Proven track record of sales success in technical solution selling
    • Skilled in using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Experience with competitive analysis pricing strategies and projectbased business
    • Confident in delivering technical presentations and interacting with senior decisionmakers
  • Languages: Businessfluent in English and Italian (spoken and written); other European languages are a plus
  • Personality:
    • Customercentric and consultative approach to sales
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across cultures and functions
    • High level of selfmotivation resilience and adaptability
    • Strategic mindset combined with handson execution capability
    • Willingness to travel as needed (approx. 30%50%)
