Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to collaborate closely with our software development teams focusing on product performance cybersecurity and compliance quality standards and architecture best practices and blueprints. As a key technical leader you will provide guidance design robust solutions and ensure our systems align with enterprisegrade standards. This is a handson role requiring deep technical expertise a fullstack mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with development teams to optimize product performance ensuring scalability reliability and efficiency of our software solutions.
- Drive cybersecurity and compliance initiatives by implementing secure coding practices conducting risk assessments and ensuring adherence to industry regulations (e.g. GDPR ISO 27001 SOC 2).
- Uphold and enforce quality standards across the software development lifecycle including code reviews testing strategies and documentation.
- Define and promote architecture best practices and blueprints creating reusable patterns and frameworks to accelerate development while maintaining consistency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement fullstack solutions spanning frontend backend and infrastructure components.
- Mentor engineers providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends recommending tools and approaches to enhance our technical ecosystem.
- Work closely with product managers architects and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Key Deliverables:
- Performance optimization reports and implemented improvements that enhance system scalability and reduce latency by measurable metrics (e.g. 20% reduction in response time).
- A comprehensive cybersecurity framework including secure coding guidelines vulnerability assessments and compliance audit checklists tailored to regulatory standards.
- A quality assurance toolkit including automated testing suites code review templates and documentation standards adopted by development teams.
- A library of reusable architectural blueprints (e.g. microservices templates API design patterns) documented and integrated into the development process.
- Fullstack prototypes or productionready features demonstrating endtoend implementation of critical system components.
- Mentorship plans and technical training sessions delivered to upskill team members with measurable improvements in team productivity or code quality.
- A technology roadmap incorporating emerging tools and trends presented to leadership with actionable recommendations.
- Regular architecture review reports aligning technical implementations with business goals shared with stakeholders quarterly.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex highperformance systems.
- Expertise as a fullstack engineer with proficiency across frontend (e.g. React Angular ) backend (e.g. Java Python C#) and database technologies (e.g. SQL NoSQL).
- Strong knowledge of product performance optimization including profiling load testing and distributed systems design.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles secure development practices and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience establishing quality standards such as automated testing CI/CD pipelines and code quality metrics.
- Proficiency in defining architecture best practices with handson experience creating scalable and maintainable blueprints (e.g. microservices eventdriven architectures).
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Proven ability to lead technically mentor junior engineers and influence crossfunctional stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise software development or largescale SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g. CISSP CEH) or architecture (e.g. TOGAF AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Contributions to opensource projects or a strong portfolio of technical achievements.
