Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking BI Developer (Tableau) to join our team with strong Tableau and SQL expertise to backfill a recently vacated position. This role is critical to the continued development of our enterprise reporting and analytics platform and will play a key role in supporting datadriven decisionmaking across the insurance business.
Responsibilites:
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Continue development and enhancement of the existing Tableaubased BI and reporting platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Architect to design and implement meaningful data visualizations.
- Leverage the enterprise data warehouse for building reliable and accurate reporting solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear actionable reports and dashboards.
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Tableau expertise proficient in designing developing and optimizing dashboards.
- Advanced SQL skills capable of querying large datasets and optimizing complex queries.
- Insurance industry experience is essential must understand business workflows data relationships and reporting needs specific to the insurance domain.
- Ability to grasp the why behind reports must understand the business context not just the technical requirements.
- Team Collaboration:
- Will be supported by a Data Architect and a database developer.
- Expected to work crossfunctionally to align reporting with both business goals and data architecture.
Requirements
- Must have worked in properly & casualty or commercial insurance domains (health insurance does not count).
- Must have strong and recent experience developing in Tableau.
- Strong SQL experience.
